Dear Business Partner
As the Covid-19 situation continues to develop and the risk of material impact on our both our personal and working lives intensifies, we wanted to reassure you that we are taking every step possible to ensure our business continuity. Many of our workforce are already equipped to work from home and are now doing so, our remaining office staff are being equipped and tested to also work from home on rotation in preparation for our offices closing and all staff working from home in the next few days.
We have enacted a series of emergency policies and provided ongoing guidance to our teams in response to the unfolding situation, those which will affect our contact with business partners are as follows:
- Only essential face-to-face meetings will now take place, others will be held remotely or rearranged
- Avoid close contact / handshakes
- No work travel on public transport
- Cancel or postpone all planned hosted events
In taking this action we support the strategy of social distancing and minimised contact, so that we can play our part in ‘flattening the curve’ of infection of Covid-19. In doing so we hope to help reduce the impact of mass infection on our emergency services.
Whilst the steps we are taking are designed to ensure business continuity, it is likely that there may be some brief reduction in the level of service we provide during the transition. We will endeavour to keep any disruption to a minimum but trust that you will be reasonable and patient should such a situation arise.
We look forward to working together with you during these difficult times and convey our best wishes to your own situation, both in business and personally.
Richard Ainscough
